Juliet Brando @sliderulesyou Adopting a totally feral cat is amazing. I tamed her through reading Terry Pratchett to her, but now she demands it before bed every night. She stands at the top of the stairs and shouts until I come up and read to her, and then she gets into her hammock and listens until asleep. 5:08 AM ⚫ Jun 30, 2024 403.9K Views 155 1.2K 22K ☐ 701 ↑

Juliet Brando @sliderulesyou For those new to this, she was *so* feral when I adopted her that she put me in hospital within the first 24 hours. Bitten to the bone on both hands and one leg. I persevered, and the Terry Pratchett books paid off. 6 months later, she's the gentlest, most loving little baby. 11:30 PM ⚫ Jun 30, 2024 16K Views

Juliet Brando @sliderulesyou One night, the app on my phone with the books on it wouldn't open, so I had to read Twitter to her. 10:01 PM Jul 1, 2024 723 Views

Juliet Brando @sliderulesyou She blew in during a storm on the Winter Solstice, tiny, matted, and starving, and my friend's neighbour took her in. She stayed behind the sofa for two weeks until I adopted her. . 12:51 AM Jul 1, 2024 · 4,979 Views

riley732 @reallywhocares Funny timing seeing this post Today is 5 years these 2 feral showed up at my house. Christened Bill and Ted. Bill never really warmed up, but he did save me from a ... copperhead snake once. Sadly, he disappeared a couple of years ago. Ted the one in the back, fell in love with my 80lb boxer, Stella, and taught himself how to use the dog door and moved on in. He thanks me by bringing small, still alive critters into the house. To date we have entertained mouse, 2 rabbits

KC @foolrushingin Here's the before and after of our feral girl. On the left is day one, on the day we finally coaxed her inside after months of warming her up. And then what she looks like today.

Donnah @58rughooker ... Sweet kitty! And here is our feral cat colony. Six have been trapped, neutered, and brought home to us and we've fed and housed them in little cat condos. So far I can pet six of them and pick up three. Hoping to get them to a shelter when they're tamer.

Amy Mitchell @amymitchellart Ashi was living in a strip mall flower bed in an underground den nursing a mother rabbit for at least a week when I met him on May 31. He bit me and gave me bartonella. I'm still on antibiotics, but he's adjusting to home life nicely. He still has some wild manners left over.

Cactus @callmecactus___ My cat was semi feral and hid under my sofa for 1 weeks only creeping out at night to use the litter tray. Now she needs me to tuck her in to her bed every night and kiss her, otherwise she screams until I do 12:37 AM Jul 1, 2024 1,379 Views ...

kodak energy @kodknrgy ... My cat screams at me until I give him food. He then looks in the bowl to check food is there. He then walks away to where he wants to eat the food, and I must pick the bowl up and follow him otherwise he will repeat until he has the food where he wants it. 9:14 PM ⚫ Jun 30, 2024 1,465 Views

nikita @sassyblackburn I foster feral kittens. I go into a room I have set up and sit down and read to them. Eventually they will start to relax and make their way to me. Reading really does work 1:06 AM ⚫ Jul 1, 2024 662 Views

Lil Honey Badger @PrufrockeSiren We rescued a 4 week old kitten we found in the bushes - he went from feral to Frankie in a snap. He mostly likes the dogs tho and is only recently is starting to allow pets from us! He's 14!!
